A Real look at the RGP

The Royal Gibraltar Police has never faced a more corrupt and unethical administration of its resources.
Through an incessant drive to remove all the truly honest Police Officers from its rank and maintaining a core of rotten eggs the current leaders of the RGP hope to maintain a status quo wherein they are the ultimate voice in whether persons get prosecuted or not in Gibraltar. In this way they have become the untouchables.

This blog is dedicated at exposing them for what they really are.
Help and contribute to it. If you have ever been subject to some form of abuse by the RGP let us know, but keep your identity anonymous. Do not share it in this blog because it will surely be monitored.

Alfred Porro ACQUITTED

The case against Alfred Porro has collapsed in the Supreme Court in Gibraltar. The presiding Judge instructed the jury to return a plea of not guilty against Mr Porro who stood charged for several offences related to the theft of a large amount of cocaine and cannabis from Police stores.

The acquittal follows a string of allegations of mal-practice carried out by the RGP and made by the defence lawyer and a former RGP officer, Mr Frank Rawlinson, who alleged that his statement was tampered with and evidence added to it without his knowledge. The case raises a number of very important questions:

1. In relation to the number of keys that gave access to the storeroom where the drugs were stored who had those keys in their possession? and were they subject to an investigation?

2. Why were the drugs destroyed when the case was still to be heard?

3. Who was the person supervising the storeman (Mr Porro) and why isn't he subject to a disciplinary hearing for failure to adequately supervise the stores officer?

The RGP "High Command" appears to have been delivered a stunning blow by the courts once again but that has not deflated the Commissioners, egocentric, narcissist, megalomania. Now he has set his sights on the only honest officer in this whole affair, Mr Frank Rawlison. Let us just remind the public that this officer has given over 20 years of loyal service to the community and is well known his latter years of his service for the astounding work and control he had of Eastern Beach during the summer months. He was always a helping hand to everybody trying to accommodate the needs for parking, the elderly, the ill and the public in general. This kind of service is no longer evident any more and obviously does not form part of the vision that the RGP Commissioner has for the service. He would rather have police officers who mainly dedicate their time at either avoiding confrontation, not getting involved in stopping violent incidents in our streets even when they witness them and officers who consume illegal drugs in clubs across the frontier. Has anybody thought about why the RGP does not have a random drug testing program of its officers? The army has and it's standard in other police forces in other parts of the world so why does the RGP not have a similar process?

The RGP last night also stated that Mr Porro will face a Disciplinary Board. Have no doubts that this is the WINK KANGAROO COURT. Mr Porro has no chance for a fair trail in there. He will be found guilty whatever the evidence. What really shocks is how is he going to be convicted in a Disciplinary Board when the level of proof required is the same as in a criminal court and a JUDGE has already decided that there is really not enough evidence to proceed?

I am sure that the Commissioner of Police and his stooges will find a way...by hook or by crook.
